Having said that, it wasn't too bad and didn't get in the way of what, apart from the grinding, was a great game.Wingnuthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07859158206963441813noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1560336654412769768.post-18695349724709528192013-05-20T15:52:41.530+01:002013-05-20T15:52:41.530+01:00Talk about going back in time a bit here...

Now that being said, it's not one of my favorite progression systems, but I played a ton of D&D and D&D-like games, so something handled a bit uniquely was a win for me too.Chalgyrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10879608925209948366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1560336654412769768.post-87194005447092025062013-05-20T07:50:51.854+01:002013-05-20T07:50:51.854+01:00Hi Shen, I appreciate the comment. Yes, it was different but the fact that characters lose intelligence the more they fight didn't set well with me. I think I prefer the traditional D&D type character development.Wingnuthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07859158206963441813noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1560336654412769768.post-39389929157448396962013-05-19T19:31:58.482+01:002013-05-19T19:31:58.482+01:00Glad you enjoyed this one as much as I did. For all its flaws and exploits in the character development system, at least it is something vastly different from the regular linear progression that most RPGs of the era have. And, yeah, the Gigas are some badass mofos (that like to hide in chests somehow).Shen Nunghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01261052289747455716noreply@blogger.com
